About Taalim Fund
The Taalim Fund was started to break generational cycles of poverty by providing scholarships to inner city youth in Tanzania to get access to an education that delivers better outcomes, and changes the trajectory of their lives. Secondary enrollment rates are at 35% in Tanzania as government schools do not materially change outcomes.
$1,000 a year enables an inner city secondary student to enroll at an English speaking school, that creates the potential to transforms their life and that of their family and communities.
